Hello my name is Theresa Maresca and I am excited to be the librarian at Cornerstone Elementary again! I started working as a fourth grade teacher in Fort Bend ISD. In 2007 and began my role as a librarian in 2017. I look forward to supporting you, our community, and encouraging students to be life-long learners! 

     I'm originally from a small town in Indiana, the Hoosier state. In 2018, I completed the School of Library and Information Studies master's degree program at Texas Woman's University. In 2006, I lived in Connecticut where I graduated from Bridgeport University with a Master's Degree in Elementary Education.  I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 2005 from Post University. I had a wonderful experience as a resident intern for 5th and 6th grade students at Hopbrook Intermediate School in Naugatuck, CT. Over the past few decades, I've worked with children in all grades EC-6 as an intern, student teacher, volunteer, paraprofessional, and reading specialist and I am very passionate about my commitment to helping children be successful while making learning fun in the process. My favorite pasttimes are reading, exercising, and I love to travel. My husband, Chris, and I have a beautiful daughter, Juliana, and a mini yorkie, named Buster. We just celebrated our 22nd year of marriage this summer and I feel truly blessed to have his continued support!
