Hello Gators and Gator parents! My name is Theresa Maresca and I am excited to be your librarian! I am a former 4th grade teacher and have worked in Fort Bend the past nine years.
I am originally from Indiana, the Hoosier state, and enrolled in the School of Library and Information Studies master's degree program at Texas Woman's University. I am currently working toward my Master's in Library Science degree and will graduate this December! In 2006 I lived in Connecticut where I graduated from Bridgeport University with a Master's Degree is in Elementary Education. I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 2005 from Post University. I had a wonderful experience as a resident intern for 5th and 6th grade students. Over the past 18 years, I've worked with children in all grades K-6 as an intern, student teacher, volunteer, paraprofessional, and reading specialist and I am very passionate about my commitment to helping children be successful and making learning fun in the process. My favorite pasttime is exercising and I love to travel. My husband, Chris, and I have a beautiful 9 year old daughter, Juliana. We just celebrated our 16th year of marriage this summer and I feel truly blessed to have his continued support!
This is my second year at Sienna Crossing and I look forward to engaging students to love learning!
