Hello, my name is Travis Davis.  I have been teaching 7th grade science at Dulles Middle School since 2005.  In 7th grade science we will cover a wide array of science topics from; 1) matter and solutions, 2) force and motion, 3) thermal energy, 4) the solar system, 5) plate tectonics, 6) water and human activity, 7) human body systems, 8) inheritance and changes and 9) classification and ecosystems.

In addition to teaching science, I also coach 7th grade football here the Dulles Middle School Vikings.  7th grade is when sports are initially introduced to students and they are given an opportunity to participate in organized sports.  It is also the first time that many children will be labeled as a "student athlete," and understand the relationship that students must follow between classroom studies and on the field participation.
