Welcome to 8th grade! I hope you're as excited as I am about this school year. Your eighth grader is going to be growing and taking on more responsibility. This class includes reading, writing, activities and projects throughout the year. All of this will be in preparation for what awaits them in high school next year. 

I received a Bachelor of Arts in English at Texas A&M University. I am certified for grades 8-12 in English Language Arts and Reading, and I also have an ESL certification. I grew up in the Cy-Fair school district and graduated from Langham Creek High School.

I look forward to seeing all that your student will achieve this year as we work together for their success!

Teacher Tutorial Schedule

     Students must have a pass for tutorials that includes the following information or they will not be admitted:
    • The class they are going to 
    • The date
    • A parent/guardian signature 

    A pass is required for The Zone as well (Tuesday and Thursday afternoons starting in September each year).
