About Ms. Henry

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science and Education from the University of Houston and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Literacy Studies from the University of Texas. My academic background has shaped my teaching philosophy—one that values exploration, critical thinking, and meaningful real-world connections.

I was born and raised in the beautiful islands of Trinidad and Tobago and have been happily married for 25 years. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading, spending time outdoors, and hanging out with my sweet dog, Coco. I’m also a proud foodie! Some of my favorite eats include curry fish and roti, Dave’s Hot Chicken, Chick-fil-A, and a good drink from Starbucks.
