Dulles Middle School

With over 220 students, the Dulles Middle School Orchestra is one of the largest string programs in FBISD. DMS Orchestra has been recognized nationally and internationally winning awards throughout the years at many festivals and competitions. The DMS Symphony orchestra was recognized at The Midwest Clinic International Band and Orchestra Concert in 2000, 2009, and 2016. They were also recognized as commended winners by The Foundation of Music Education for the last few years and Superior ratings at the Directors Choice Festivals. Each year, the Orchestra program has made sweepstakes ratings at the FBISD UIL concert and sightreading contests. In 2022, the DMS Symphony Orchestra was invited to play at the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Convention, and we were Runner-Up in the 2025 TMEA Honors Orchestra competition!
