I am a native Houstonian, who grew up in the Alief area. I attended Alief Hastings High School. GO BEARS!! I graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown with my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and I love studying the mind and how it works!! Which is why I love teaching special education. We all have beautiful minds and some are just wired a little differently!! I have been teaching for a total of 16 years. I started my educational career in Alief ISD, teaching 7th and 8th grade, and then, I spent 10 years teaching 5th grade. I came to Fortbend, and have been here at Dulles Middle School since 2019. I love reading and writing, and someday, I would love to write a book! I have two boys. They are 18 and 11. My oldest just graduated from Travis this past school year, and my youngest who is just starting middle school this school year.  I am looking forward to this school year and the amazing things that we are going to accomplish this school year.
