Welcome Vikings! My name is Jennifer Mason. I am so excited that I will be your Math teacher and have the opportunity to help you transition to Dulles Middle School! I teach 6th Grade Math and AAC Math. A little about myself: I am a Texas native, live in Sugar Land, grew up in Houston, and graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and also a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems. I worked as a computer programmer for 8 years, then resigned my position to raise my family of four children. During that time, I served in many volunteer opportunities, taught music and computer applications in various settings to all age groups, and then later pursued certification to teach Math. My personal interests include spending time with family, church community, yoga, music, reading, walking, hiking, sailing, and healthy living.

I am excited about another year at DMS, but especially excited to build relationships with my students, help them develop a growth mindset, and achieve success in our Math class and beyond.
