Hello Parents!

I am excited to welcome you and your students to 7th grade math class!  With over three decades of teaching experience, I have been dedicated to education since 1991. Currently, I teach 7th Grade Academic Math and 7th Grade Math Lab. My academic journey began at Mary Holmes Jr. College, where I earned an associate degree in computer science. I then moved to Texas and graduated from Texas Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science—go Tigers! Later in my career, I furthered my education with a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at Arlington. After retiring in 2018, I pursued a personal goal and competed in my first bodybuilding competition. However, my passion for teaching drew me back to the classroom, and I am thrilled to be part of the Viking family once again.
