Ericka Castillo
Hello, new 6th graders! Welcome to Dulles Middle School! 🎉
My name is Mrs. Castillo and I am thrilled to be your Science teacher this year. I have been teaching Science for 14 years, and this will be my second year at Dulles Middle School. I am passionate about making science exciting and accessible for all of you.
At Dulles Middle School, we live by our core values: work hard and be nice. These values are the foundation of everything we do. We also emphasize leadership, integrity, being a good neighbor, and respect. These principles guide us in creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
This year, my focus is on small groups to ensure that every student is learning at high levels. We will work together to foster strong communication and accountability. I believe that by working in small groups, we can support each other and achieve great things.
I am excited to get to know each of you and to see the amazing things you will accomplish this year. Let’s make this a fantastic year of learning, growth, and fun!
