Marisol Luna Biography,
Marisol Luna earned her Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Studies in Music from the University of Texas at El Paso. As a public school teacher, she is entering her twelfth year in music education. Past orchestral teaching positions have included being the Head Orchestra Director in various school districts across the Greater Houston area, such as Houston, Spring Branch, and Katy ISD.
Ms. Luna served as an orchestra conductor in the Katy ISD summer camp in 2021. She is a member of the Texas Music Educators Association, as well as the Teachers Orchestra Directors Association. Ms. Luna's orchestras have consistently won Sweepstakes at UIL Concert and Sight Reading Contest. She prides herself on coaching her students to be competitive and passionate about music.
The Dulles Middle School Symphony Orchestra, directed by both Ms. Luna and Mr. Odeh won second place in the 2025 TMEA Full Honor Orchestra Competition.
