I am entering my 16th year teaching middle school ELA.  This will be my sixth year at Garcia Middle School.  I have a love for writing and reading that I hope to transfer to my students.  

I greatly enjoy the outdoors and reading YA and mystery books and recommending them to my students.  

I teach ESL, GT, and AAC.  I enjoy teaching as much as I do learning from my students.  I am also the Book Club sponsor.  We meet every Friday from 8:20-8:45 in the back of the library.  I coach girls' GMS soccer in the spring.
