Hi, my name is Connie Carrillo and welcome to my science class!

I have been teaching middle school science since 1995, and I became part of the Falcon family in 2018.  I feel very fortunate to teach alongside my amazing colleagues!

I'm passionate about making science engaging, meaningful, and fun for all students. In our classroom, we explore the wonders of the natural world through hands-on experiments, collaborative projects, and real-world connections. My goal is to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning. Whether we're studying ecosystems, linear motion, or the Earth’s changing surface, students are encouraged to ask questions, investigate, and discover.  Moreover, I value my students' social-emotional growth and work ethic.  It is important to me that my students are treated with respect and kindness. 

In my spare time, I enjoy poking at dead animals... No, I was just kidding! :) I love spending time with my two beautiful fur babies, my two dogs, Star and Chance; listening to my favorite band--For King and Country-, sipping coffee as I watch K-dramedies or Bollywood movies!
