My name is Jenneane Cardenas and this is my fifteenth year teaching special education.  I have been at Scanlan Oaks Elementary for eleven years and I’m very proud of all that we do for our students here. I am a wife, mother of 4 children and I live here in Sienna Plantation.  I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in academic studies.  My philosophy of teaching is that all students can learn if we meet their needs.  My favorite educational quote is “Fair isn’t everyone getting the same thing.  Fair is everyone getting what they need in order to be successful.”  I believe that all students have different learning styles and I am amazed every day by what my students can do.
