Welcome to Scanlan Oaks Elementary Fourth Grade Reading/Language Arts and Social Studies! My name is Mrs. Lauren Carpenter. I grew up in Sugarland, Texas and attended FBISD schools all throughout K-12, so FBISD has always felt like home. I am certified to teach Kindergarten through 6th grade and this will be my 5^th year teaching Writing, Reading and Social Studies and my 3^rd at Scanlan Oaks Elementary. 

Reading is a passion of mine and I love to share the love with my students. I couldn't be more excited to be part of this school! I live within the Sienna community with my husband, my two children, Emma and Cole, and our two dogs, Tater and Beanie. I look forward to building relationships with my students and parents so we can partner together and have a fantastic school year!
