Hello!  My name is Lana Aitken.  I have been teaching at Scanlan Oaks Elementary since it opened 19 years ago.  This is the beginning of my 27th year of teaching.  I continue to have a passion for teaching and a love for our school. I work with such wonderful teachers and families!  

I recently celebrated my 32nd wedding anniversary in January to the love of my life and best friend!  We have a 29 year old son that is getting married in October! I also have a 24 year old amazing daughter!  I love spending time with my family and going to movies!

I truly love teaching and strive to make a positive difference in the lives of each child I teach!
