Howdy! My name is Krysti Frewin, and I am a 4th grade ELA/social studies teacher at Scanlan Oaks. I grew up in the Sagemont area and attended Pasadena ISD schools. I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2009 with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education. Two years later, I earned my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of St. Thomas. Before coming to Scanlan Oaks, I taught Kinder, 2nd, 3rd, and was a reading instructional coach for five years. I believe in hard work and having fun. I have high expectations for myself and my students, and enjoy building strong relationships with each child and family that enters my room every year. My husband and I have two boys, Ryder and Hunter. In my personal time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I love Harry Potter, the Aggies, chocolate, and watching scary movies! I am looking forward to a fabulous year in 4th grade!
