Hi!  Welcome to Scanlan Oaks Elementary - Kindergarten.  My name is Esmeralda De Leon and I love teaching Kindergarten!  This is my nineteenth year as a teacher and my eleventh year at Scanlan Oaks Elementary.  I previously taught Kindergarten for five years for Alvin ISD.  After staying home with my children for a few years, I decided to sub part time.  I subbed for two years at Fort Bend ISD before returning full-time.  All of my full-time teaching experience has been in Kindergarten.  I attended the University of Houston - Clear Lake and received a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies.  My husband and I have three children, two girls and a boy.  My oldest daughter is a sophomore at Texas A&M University. My middle daughter is a senior and my son is a sophomore at Ridge Point High School.  During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, baking, crafting and going to the movies.
