Miss Emily Reader

Hey Fireflies! I am Miss Reader and am new to Ferguson this year! This is my 9th year teaching elementary music here in Fort Bend ISD.

I am originally from the UK and moved to Houston when I was in high school. I was very involved in choir and went to Abilene Christian University on a vocal music scholarship. In 2020, I became a naturalized citizen :)

This year, all students will have the opportunity to shine bright on the stage in their grade level musical. It's so important to me that all students get to participate and show their families all the great things we do in music!!

  • Below are the dates for our musicals this year! Parents are strongly encouraged to attend our family night performances at 5:30pm :)
