As a veteran teacher, my personal commitment has been focused on three things: inspiring students' love for learning, instilling a sense on self-worth among all students and maximizing student performance. As an educator, I establish high expectations for students; continously seek out ways to improve instruction and link learning with fun, learner centered lessons. I equip children with the tools and knowledge needed to exceed in their individual goals.  I utilize a variety of teaching strategies to facilitate all learning styles.  I research, locate, and incorporate a variety of resources to accommodate all types of learners.  I am deeply committed to improving childrens' lives and continously strive to lead by example.  I am passionate about teaching, learning and student success. My goal is to foster and maintain an open, honest, communicative and supportive classroom in which each student feels safe, secure and appropriately challenged.
