Hello all!  My name is Natalie Flores, and this is my fifth year teaching at Scanlan Oaks Elementary!  I graduated from Baylor University with my Bachelor's Degree in Education.  I am ESL and GT certified, as well as the Technology Integration Champion this year.  I have taught 2nd grade for the past four years, so I am excited to embark on this new adventure in 1st grade this year.

I was born and raised in Houston.  I went to Episcopal High School, and grew up in the Bellaire area.  I have two dogs, Meisha and Marco, who are my whole world!  They are 9-year-old Havanese siblings.  I have one younger sister who just graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Corporate Communications.  She is currently working in the entertainment industry at Walt Disney World.  I recently got engaged, and will be getting married soon!

I am a BIG sports fan!  My favorite teams are the Texans, Rockets, Astros, and Baylor Bears.  I love to cook in my free time, exercise and spend time with my family.  I'm obsessed with all things Disney related, the beach, binge watching Netflix, and candles.
