Hi!

This is my 16th year at ​Scanlan Oaks Elementary!​

As a third-generation educator, originally from New Jersey, I have taught in New Jersey, the New Orleans area, Spring Branch and saving the best for last, Fort Bend ISD.​

I have taught every grade, K-8 as well as STEM. I am so excited to join the 3rd grade team this year!​

In my free time, I enjoy cultivating tropical plants, crafting, spending time with my family, and my 2 long-haired dachshunds. I love sports, baseball, soccer and football.   I especially enjoy watching and cheering for our Houston Astros.

I have three grown children.  My sons, Zach and Drew, are both software engineers/developers who live in the Dallas area. ​They often visit and love taking me to Astros games. My daughter, Krista, has degrees in Criminal Justice and in Psychology.  

I am looking forward to a great year!
