I have enjoyed teaching 1st-3rd at SOE since 2015. Previously, I taught for one year in HISD, eight years in North Carolina, and two years in New Jersey. I enjoy working with children and seeing them learn and grow throughout the school year.

My desire to teach began at an early age, when I would come home from school and teach my stuffed animals everything I had learned in school that day. I attended high school in New Jersey and graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education EC-6 from Eastern University in Pennsylvania. I am ESL and GT certified.

My apartment is in Stafford, but I enjoy the commute because I can listen to audio books. In my free time, I enjoy reading, puzzles, going to Target, and watching movies wih my partner in crime, Rob.  Staying active in my church is also very important to me. If you ask any of my students about me, they will definitely mention my goofy sense of humor and my serious love of pandas.
