Psychology B.A. Anthropology Minor Core Subjects 4-8
Hello, spirited Mavericks! My name is Julian Nguyen and I am ecstatic to be a part of this wonderful community, guiding students towards success as a 7th grade science teacher. I was born and raised in the tiny but wonderful state of Maryland and graduated at the University of Maryland Baltimore County with a major in Psychology and minor in Anthropology. I decided to move to the great city of Houston because I had visited a few times and found myself wanting to learn more and more about the people here, along with the rich and diverse culture that is found in every single neighborhood. And here I am now, learning from the bright and inquiring minds of Houston's youth every single day! During my off time, you would find me either at the dog park with my best bud, pigging out at a local restaurant, or playing video games when I'm looking for action. At the end of the day, I am always reflecting upon how I can improve myself as a person, even with the most minor details. I continue this mindset as a teacher too, for I am always thinking about how I can be a better mentor and facilitator for every individual sitting in my classroom, or walking down the hall. With that said, please do not hesitate to contact me about any questions or concerns that may be on your mind. I am here for the school, students, parents, and the community as a whole.
Kind regards always,
