Good day! I’m Ms. Vassell, and I teach 6th grade English Language Arts and Reading at David Crockett Middle School. I began my career at Fort Bend ISD during the 2017-2018 school year, and then I switched to DCMS in 2019.

I started my education at EA Jones Elementary, transferred to another district, and went on to earn my bachelor’s degree from Sam Houston State University. I'm proud to say that I started my career in the same district where I began my educational endeavors. 

I enjoy reading everything from blogs to novels to television shows/movies, listening to music (domestic and foreign), traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

I look forward to partnering with parents to help make this the most successful year yet for their children!
