Welcome to 8th grade ELA,
I am overjoyed to be teaching 8th grade ELA and Literacy here at Crockett Middle School. I am looking forward to having an awesome school year. I am coming to Crockett with over 20 years of experience in education. I am a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders and a minor in Linguistics. I am certified to teach grades 4th through 8th in all academic content areas. I am also certified to teach ESL and Gifted and Talented. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling to new exciting places, and working out.
My goal is for every student to enhance their reading, writing, and speaking skills through a variety of different means, in order to develop critical thinking skills for success in their future endeavors. Please feel free to contact me any time throughout the school year.
