Hello students and families!
Welcome to theatre arts. My name is Dr. Terrell Davenport and I will serve as your student’s theatre educator. I will be teaching theatre 1, 2 and 3.
I am a native of Warrenton, NC. I have lived in Houston, TX for 10 years. My love for the performing arts landed me at Saint Augustine’s University in Raleigh, NC, graduating with a degree in Theatre and Film, then furthering my education at North Carolina Agriculture and Technical State University in Greensboro, NC with a degree in Liberal Arts (Dance). I have also obtained a master’s degree and a Doctorate in Theology.
I have been with FBISD for 4 years and teaching professionally for 14 years.
My passion for teaching is because I love seeing students grow and accomplish goals they never imagined they could. My purpose for teaching is because it’s necessary!
I am a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., TXETA (Texas Educator Theatre Association)
