I am a graduate of Brigham Young University where I received a Bachelors of Science degree in Health Science with an emphasis in school education and minored in Physical Education. I also have a Masters of Science degree (Athletic Administration) through Western Kentucky University. Before coming to David Crockett (I am an original Maverick), I taught health at Hodges Bend Middle School and Timpanogos High School (which is in Alpine, Utah). I coach 8th grade football, 7th grade basketball, 7th/8th grade track and field, tennis, and soccer. I also serve as the Physical Education Department Head and Boys Campus Athletic Coordinator.

On a more personal note, I am a father to four boys and one beautiful little girl and am married to my college sweetheart.
