About Counseling



    Professional School Counselors are available at David Crockett Middle School to provide a Comprehensive Developmental Guidance Program and services for all students in the areas of:

    • Guidance Curriculum - In an effort to help students develop competence in essential life skills
    • Responsive Services - Provide intervention for immediate personal/social/emotional concerns
    • Individual Planning - Provide guidance to help students plan, monitor, and manage their personal, educational and career goals, and facilitate transition activities for post-secondary education and/or training
    • System Support - Support campus staff, parents, and community to promote the educational, career, personal, and social development of students, as well as the Developmental Guidance Program

    Internet Discount Program for District Parents

    Information Technology Division will use all means of communication to address a discount program that the FCC is promoting.  For any parent in the district, that is eligible, a credit can help them have discounted or free internet access at home.  If any employee who knows a family that qualifies for the program, please pass on the information.  More information on the Lifeline Program is here (https://www.lifelinesupport.org/Lifeline is a federal program that lowers the monthly cost of phone and internet. Eligible customers will get up to $9.25 toward their bill.
