Welcome junior scientists!

My name is Katherine Britton, and I will be teaching 7th grade science!
I graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of Houston with my B.S. in Teaching and Learning.
I have been teaching for 5 years, 4 of them being at First Colony MS in Sugar Land as well as coaching soccer!

I love being active! I play soccer on an indoor and outdoor team weekly, and I exercise and train at the gym daily.
Physical fitness is very important to me, and I hope to inspire others to be healthy and fit as well.
I enjoy running, biking, swimming, most forms of cardiovascular exercise, as well as resistance and high intensity training.

In addition to physical activity, some of my special interests are indoor and outdoor plant keeping, target shooting,
crocheting, reading, and playing video games on PC and console, listening to music, bowling, and A LOT more!
I enjoy spending time with my friends, my boyfriend, my two younger brothers, and my parents.
My youngest brother just graduated from Travis High School, and my dad is a high school Physics/Chemistry teacher in FBISD as well!

I am very excited about being your teacher this school year and look forward to getting to know all of my students!
