Hello,

Welcome to 6th Grade AVID! I am excited to have you in my class. I know you are all probably wondering what AVID is. Well, I like to call it "Real Life Skills." We are going to learn things about organization, time management, presentation skills, computer skills, coping skills, and how to look at your future and potentially plan or look at what you want to do. I have over 20 years experience in the business world and many years in education and I will apply my skills learned in the business world to the classroom.
