Welcome to the Bowie Middle School Library, where we are proud to provide information, inspiration, and innovation! Our library is not just a book hub, but an information hub, with a wealth of resources at your fingertips. Students can come to 'The Den' before school as early as 8:25 each morning to check out books or participate in the daily clubs/activities, and we are open throughout the school day until 4:15. English classes are scheduled for library visits once every two weeks. Drop-ins are encouraged because information is a point-of-need type of service, and we are happy to accommodate! Computers are available throughout the day and our library also provides opportunities for our Bears to apply the information they have acquired by dabbling in some innovative projects. We want to encourage our Bears to not just be consumers but to become creators, as well.
