Welcome to sixth grade ELA and AAC ELA!

As a graduate of FBISD, I am proud to be back, only on the other side of the desk now. I attended Sugar Land Middle School, Dulles High School and was a member of the first graduating class of Clements High School, 1985!

This is my 34th year teaching middle school ELA. I have enjoyed teaching the last 17 years in FBISD. Three of those years, I taught at Garcia Middle School and then moved to Bowie when it opened in 2011.

I have been married for 30 years. We have a son working in San Marcos and a daughter that graduated in May from Texas State University.

I am passionate about teaching middle school kids to embrace reading and writing and to become lifelong learners. I am looking forward to a great year full of learning, fun, and success!
