My name is Megan McAndrew and I am so happy to spend this school year with you & your child. As a parent of a 4 year old daughter, I understand how important education is and how we have to change the way we are learning in order to adapt to our ever changing world. I believe in the philosophy that "It takes a village to raise a child", which means to me that we are all in this together and we all want what is best for the child.
Some facts about me are that I have been teaching in Fort Bend ISD for 15 years and have taught both high school Physics and 8th grade science. I grew up in FBISD from Dulles Elementary, First Colony MS, and graduating from Clements HS. I graduated from Texas A & M University- College Station, with a Bachelors degree in Chemistry and a minor in education. My two favorite subjects in science are physics and chemistry, but I try to instill my passion and enthusiasm for all fields of science and encourage students to explore all their options. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, jogging, or doing arts and crafts projects with my daughter.
I'm excited about getting to know what this year will bring as we face new challenges.
