Important Clinic Information
Immunizations
All incoming 7th grade students are required to obtain Tdap and Meningococcal vaccines per Texas law. Please submit an updated vaccine record to the clinic. Students that do not provide proof of vaccination will not be given a schedule the first day of school. Please send immunizations before July 31st to allow sufficient time to update their records.
Students should not come to school if they have a fever of 100 degrees or higher, are experiencing vomiting, or diarrhea, or have an unexplained skin rash. They must be fever free without the use of a fever reducer such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen for 24 hours.Students should not return to school until 24 hours have passed since the last episode of vomiting or diarrhea. If a student is sent home for an illness such as fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or a skin rash, the student needs to check in with the clinic the morning they return to school. If your child has been seen by the doctor, please provide any medical documentation you may have.
Screenings
All 7th grade students will have vision, hearing and acanthosis nigracans.
