Hello Students and Families!

My name is Mrs. Ellis and I teach English as a Second Language (ESL) at Bowie Middle School.  This is my sixth year at Bowie and my 10th year teaching.  I graduated from the University of Houston.  I am a lifelong learner and I am always trying to grow as an educator.  Teaching is a large part of my life and I love it!

I am married with two sons.  My oldest son graduated from Sam Houston University and serves in the United States Coast Guard.  My youngest is finishing his college career to be a high school history teacher. I also have two crazy dogs.
