Hello!

I have been teaching 3rd grade Math and Science here at Highlands Elementary for 6 years. I grew up in Houston, Texas, and come from a very big family. I will never forget who my favorite teachers were growing up. Each one of them were the caring and nurturing type, which meant a lot to me. These teachers, along with having lots of family growing up, played a big part in what motivated me to become a teacher and become the inspiration my teachers were to me. I attended the College of Education at the University of Houston(Main Campus) and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor's degree of Science in Teaching and Learning. In my free time, I love to do yoga, dance and enjoy game nights with friends and family.
