Hi!  My name is Hollie Clark and I am a 2nd grade ELA/Social Studies teacher at Highlands Elementary! I love teaching and love my Scottie family! This is my 6th year at Highlands but I have been teaching and working with students for over 20 years in different capacities.  I graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Elementary Education.  I am ESL and district GT certified. I grew up in Iowa and my family and I moved to the Houston area in 2013. 

My husband, Carl, and I have 4 children. Our oldest son attends Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. Our 2nd son and daughter are in high school and our last son is in middle school.  We love to travel and visit national parks, play board games and bocce ball and cheer on our Iowa State Cyclones in any and all sports!  I also love the Astros and catch them whenver I can. 

I am very excited to have the opportunity to teach each of your children this year.  I can't wait to work together to help your 2nd grade Scotties learn and grow!
