Welcome Scotties! My name is Victoria Franco, and I am thrilled to be teaching fourth grade Math and Science at Highlands Elementary this school year!

I graduated from FBISD in 2016 and then went on to graduate summa cum laude from Texas State University in 2020. Eat 'em up Cats! This will be my fifth year teaching and my fifth year at Highlands. I grew up in the DFW metroplex and then moved to Houston in 2013, so I am a Cowboys fan at heart. I have a dog named Koda and a cat named Mika, who are the lights of my life! In my spare time, I love to read and spend time with my family. 

My goal for the year is to foster an environment where every single student feels welcomed, represented, and loved. We will strive to build a safe and nurturing place for all students, where mistakes are learning opportunities and we are never afraid to take risks! I truly love being a Scottie and everything that Highlands stands for. I am incredibly passionate about being a teacher and cannot wait for another amazing year!
