Welcome to Kindergarten! 

My name is Jamie Burcham, and I am thrilled to be your child’s teacher this year. I can’t wait to get to know you and your family better. Highlands is a fantastic school with a special place in my heart, as I am a proud former Scottie myself, having attended Highlands from Kindergarten through 5th grade. This 2024-2025 school year marks my ninth year of teaching, and I am excited for all the adventures we’ll share.

Beyond the classroom, I am a proud mom to my daughter Hallie, who is also a Scottie. She is in 2nd grade this year and brings so much joy to my life. Watching her grow and learn makes me incredibly proud.

In my free time, I love cheering on the Houston Astros and the Dallas Stars. I also enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends, traveling, and exploring new places. I look forward to a wonderful year ahead and am eager to support your child’s learning journey.
