I graduated from Southwest Texas State University, now known as Texas State University.  I have been teaching since 1994 in many subject areas and grade levels.  I have taught in many school districts, including Alief ISD, Pearland ISD, Northeast (San Antonio) ISD, and Seguin ISD.  I came to Highlands in 2019 and absolutely love teaching ELA and Social Studies to my fifth graders.  I have one daughter and many family members that live in Richmond/Rosenburg.  I enjoy reading, the beach, my animals, and going on cruises.  I look forward to a fantastic school year!
