Hi everyone! My name is Minnie Cheng, and I am a 3rd grade teacher (self-contained) at Highlands Elementary! I enjoy working with children and helping them achieve success! I believe every child can be successful with the partnership of school and home!

I received my education degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Hook 'em Horns! Also, I received my masters degree in educational administration from Lamar University. This will be my 15th year of teaching!

Outside of teaching, I love to spend time with my family and our two dogs named Oz and Coconut. We keep our hands full with our Kindergartener, Max, who will be attending Highlands, too! If you ever have any questions, please feel free to contact me. I can't wait to get this amazing year started!
