Welcome to Music at Highlands Elementary!  My name is Holley Linder and I am from Fort Worth, TX.  My love for music began with my Elementary Music Teacher and I began taking piano lessons when I was 8.  I went to Stephen F. Austin State University, where I received my Bachelor of Music.  This is my 20th year teaching, 18 of which have been in Fort Bend ISD.  I am starting my 10th year here at Highlands Elementary.   

While I started playing piano at 8, when I was 12, I quickly developed a love for the French horn.  I still continue to play  by playing in the Orchestra at my church.  I enjoy getting to play my instrument whenever possible.   

Outside of the classroom, I love spending time with my family.  My husband, Brandon, and I have been married for 18 years.  We have beautiful twin daughters who are in Eighth Grade at Dulles Middle School.  We are avid Houston Astros fans.  In my spare time, I enjoy reading and crafts.
