This will be my 19th year at Highlands and I truly believe our campus is among the best in Fort Bend. I began my career here working in Special Education, which allowed me to work with children at every grade level. I understand what children need to know in order to be successful and can equip them with that knowledge. Your child will not just learn to be a better reader, writer, and mathematician, but also a good citizen. Our classroom is a safe and caring place where respect and responsibility are valued as much as academics. I believe in my students and will encourage them to believe in themselves. I look forward to helping each unique and individual child reach his or her maximum potential.

I am a graduate of the University of Houston. Go Coogs!   I come from a family of teachers and feel I was destined to teach.  I have been married for 28 years this October. My family and I moved to Sugar Land 24 years ago and my sons were Highland's Scotties!
