Mrs. Kuzdzal

Hello Scotties! My name is Ivy Kuzdzal and I am so excited about this upcoming 2020-2021 school year at The Highlands Elementary.  I grew up in Chicago, Illinois, where my amazing family still resides.  Texas has been my home for over 25 years and I love it here.  However, I still miss the hustle and bustle of city life.  My husband Todd and I live in the beautiful town of Sugarland with our two awesome kids, Jackson(11) and Olivia(9).  

I am a proud graduate of University of Houston.  "Go Coogs!!"  

Teaching has always been a strong passion of mine. I will be starting my 16th year of teaching.  I am excited to be teaching First Grade this year. I believe the best learning happens when teacher, parent/guardian, and child are ALL working together as a team.  Communication is the key to your child's success, and I look forward to getting to know each of my student's family.
