Hello! I am Supriya Jha. I’m excited to be working with and learning from such a motivating and hard-working group of educators and students. I have been teaching at Fort Bend ISD for eighteen years. I am a graduate of the University of Houston with a Bachelor’s degree in Consumer Science and Merchandising and a Masters in Education. I began my teaching career at Lexington Creek Elementary, where I taught first grade and was a Reading Recovery teacher for nine years. I have been teaching Discovery, now AVID, for the past seven years and Broadcasting since 2022, and I absolutely love it. When I am not teaching, I enjoy hiking and working out with my husband. I love traveling, reading, visiting friends and family and watching movies. I’m excited to be part of SMS and looking forward to having a great and successful year!!
