Hello! My name is Thomas Brans.  I have been in education for 5 years and this is my first year at Sartartia Middle School.  I am co-teaching an 8th grade U.S. History class and a 7th grade ELA class, teaching 6th-8th Resource Reading, and 6th Grade Reading for students with Dyslexia. 

I am also coaching Soccer this year and really look forward to a great season!

I have a Bachelor's degree in History from University of Louisiana Monroe and a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary.  I am certified in Special Education, Generalist 4-8, and P.E.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy watching soccer and coaching my daughter's soccer team.  I like camping and hiking with my family as well as listening to music and reading.
