Mr. Theo Talley
Theo Talley is currently in his ninth year of teaching orchestra. A 2013 magna cum laude graduate of the University of North Texas, he received his bachelor’s degree in music education. While attending UNT he studied string education with Karrell Johnson and cello with Nikola Ruzevic. In 2011, he was awarded the Dean’s Camerata String Camp Music Education Scholarship. In 2012 he performed with the UNT Symphony Orchestra at the annual Texas Music Educators Convention. Mr. Talley attended high school in Bentonville, Arkansas where he was an all-state musician in both orchestra and choir. In 2008, Theo got the chance to perform with the Ozark Philharmonic Youth Orchestra in a debut performance at Carnegie Hall. Aside from teaching, Theo enjoys singing barbershop harmony, cooking gumbo, and spending time with his two wonderful nieces. You can contact him at Theodore.Talley@fortbendisd.com
