Greetings! I began teaching in the Fall of 2011 and re-joined the Dulles family in Fall 2017. I am a proud product of FBISD; I graduated from Dulles High School in 2005 and am excited to be home in community where I grew up. I love teaching students and opening their eyes to the world of art. Through art, I seek to inspire and equip students to pursue futures beyond what they can imagine. In addition to teaching Art 1, AP Art History, and Art 3D Sculpture/Ceramics, I am the faculty sponsory for the DHS chapter of National Art Honor Society. I am also the Coach of our Freshman Volleyball team. I have my Bachelor of Arts Degree from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. I majored in Art and minored in Art History, Classical Studies and Exercise Science. During college I worked as a student athletic trainer for the football and volleyball teams as I pursued my passion of for art and drawing. Also, I studied abroad in Perugia, Italy in the winter and spring of 2008, and have been traveling the world since! My husband and I still live in the area, and are the proud parents of two golden retrievers.
