Welcome to ACHS!  Twelve years ago, I discovered my passion for teaching, transitioning to education from a long and rewarding marketing/communications career. Today, my focus is on helping young people make real-world connections through the power of literacy. I am committed to working with each and every student every single day to reach his or her full potential in reading, writing, speaking, and thinking. I view each child as a unique gift, and I am truly privileged to learn as much from my students as they learn from me. My goal has remained the same throughout my career in education: to help lay the groundwork for students to pursue a successful path after high school.
