I began my teaching and coaching journey in 2019 as a student teacher and football coach at Alcoa High School in Tennessee, where I was part of a state championship team. After that, I taught English 4 at Humble High School during the early days of COVID-19 before enrolling in the Texas Teachers Alternative Certification Program. I went on to teach 9th grade English and coach at Texas City High School, and later taught and coached at Goose Creek Memorial and Summer Creek High School, where I helped lead another state championship run. Currently, I serve as a Resource English teacher and co-teacher at Almeta Crawford High School, where I also coach football. I am passionate about supporting students in their learning, building confidence in the classroom, and helping them succeed both academically and personally.
